Blog - n; a depository of nonsense nobody wants to read

Thanks to countless hours spent barricaded in his bedroom reading National Lampoon and Mad Magazine at an inappropriately young age, Mark grew up a frustrated satirist. Later inspired by the works of Dave Barry, P.J. O'Rourke, Bruce Cameron, and Gene Shepard, Mark's head is jam packed with humorous thoughts and comedic ideas, along with images of SI swimsuit models.
Although his talents are well suited to the likes of The Onion, because they wouldn't hire him, Mark created his own blog as a depository for all the nonsense he creates which doesn't fit neatly into the other categories above.
As such, thelaynebrain is a potpourri of rants, farcical news articles, excerpts from humorous books Mark is writing, health tips, his infamous family Christmas letters, and other folderol that his wife and three loyal subscribers swear they enjoy.
So next time you feel like having a good laugh, or if morbid curiosity gets the best of you, visit thelaynebrain. You might be glad you did!
Or not.
